Hatia: On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, Astitva Foundation distributed flattened rice (chooda).
jaggery (gur), curd, and sesame sweets (tilkut) among the underprivileged near Hatia Railway Station on January 14.
Dr. Kirti Srivastava Maji, the foundation’s head, said, “We are always ready to help the needy. Such initiatives will continue in the future to support those in need.”
The event saw the active participation of local volunteers, who distributed food to over 500 people.
